Cheap Jewelry Displays

Sure, you can purchase any number of cheap jewelry displays, it may be in your best interest to present something more creative and personal. Below, let us take a look at creating our own display.

For many, jewelry boxes are not enough, especially if you have small sized jewelry. To properly, and safely store small size jewelry, it could take a great number of traditional displays. With this display, however, it is easy to organize and have access to your jewelry. Here are the steps to creating your own…

This project will require us to collect the few pieces you will need to put this together, though first, read this entire instructional manual. Start with a frame as your jewelry display backdrop…it’s what all your jewelry pieces will be presented on. This will most likely be wood, as it will be the most inexpensive. You will need some screening material, a bit larger than your frame, a pair of scissors, a staple gun, tack hammer, and a couple nails.

Once you have collected all the materials and tools required for this project, you will want to start with the frame. As a note on the frame, select the thickest possible frame you can afford, as the thicker, the more stable the display will be. Wood frame will also help you when stapling. If you want the frame to be a certain color, this may be the time to paint it.

Next, lay the frame down, and lay your screening, or fabric over the frame. Stretch the screening so it is taught, and staple it in place. Pay particular attention to the corners, as they will tend to bunch up, if not properly secured.

Now, cut the excess fabric off, making sure to NOT cut too close to the edge of the staple line. Looking from the front, how does it look?

Using the nails, you can quickly create new jewelry holders. that’s it, you have created a quick and dirty jewelry display. The painting and colored screening help give a better presentation.
